Halo Lit Sign
This halo lit sign uses 12” painted metal letters (face and sides) and translucent acrylic backs, creating a closed “cabinet” of each individual letter. Inside each letter (cabinet) are the 12 volt LED lights which scatter the light towards the rear of the letter and onto the surface of the wall. This scattering of light is made possible by standing the letters off from the backwall surface to give the “Halo” effect.
This particular installation is approximately 75 feet up from the street level making it visible from a considerable distance.
Dimensional Letters
This sign is router cut from 2” thick High Density Sign Foam, painted and mounted to the metal siding at about 30 feet from the street level.
High Density foam has the benefit of being very lightweight yet very durable as well which makes installation both easier and less intrusive to the building structure.
Storefront Sign
Seal Point Pizza ‘s Face lit sign is made of Aluminum Composite sheet material at about 10’ long by 2’ wide. Aluminum Composite is a very popular sign material as it is relatively economical, very durable, lightweight and is a very tool-able material.
Seal Point Pizza’s sign is about 11 feet from the street level and is lit by a line of Goose Neck lights from above and in front of their new sign.
Monument Sign
This double sided, directional sign is basically a metal cabinet anchored to the ground using reinforcing bolts encased in a very substantial concrete base. The vinyl graphic itself is mounted directly to the metal sheeting and protected by a clear laminate film.
Being self standing and at ground level and being more distant from buildings, signs like these need to be generally more durable than signs mounted to structures.
